Georgia Power set out to educate customers on how small, everyday actions can lead to significant energy savings. The goal was to highlight the simplicity and speed of energy-saving habits while reinforcing Georgia Power’s role as a trusted energy advisor.

Execution

The campaign centered around a 30-second video designed to show how quick and easy it is to adopt energy-saving habits. The video follows a family performing simple actions like turning off lights, unplugging devices, and adjusting thermostats. Animated pop-ups appeared throughout, showing the simplicity of each task to complete. These visual cues reinforced how minimal efforts can lead to meaningful savings.
To maximize reach, the campaign extended beyond the video into a full 360 marketing push. This included print ads with visuals featuring energy-saving tips and a clear call to action. Social animations with shareable content showcasing quick tips in action, and radio spots with messages emphasizing how small habits add up fast.

Conclusion

The "Ready, Set, Save" campaign demonstrated that saving energy doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. Georgia Power made energy efficiency accessible and fun. This approach strengthened customer engagement while reinforcing Georgia Power’s commitment to helping families save money and energy every day.
